More than 200 years ago people who believed passionately that the Bible had something to say for the whole of humanity founded the British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS).

Today, we still share that vision. When we read the Bible we find out more about God, more about ourselves and more about the world. That's why we want to share it. We invite people to discover the Bible's message for themselves, even if they've never thought the Bible was for them. We want them to read it, be excited by it and find their lives changed by it.

United Bible Societies

United Bible Societies (UBS) is a world-wide network of Bible Societies operating in over 240 countries and territories.

UBS wants to make sure that everyone who wants to can access and engage with the Bible. UBS is interconfessional. That means it serves and works with all churches of all traditions and denominations – Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and emerging. UBS is a Fellowship. It's made up of independent national Bible Societies that choose to join together as members in an interdependent global organisation. UBS is an integrated Bible agency. It is unique in operating across the full Bible Lifecycle, so that, with God’s help, it can meet people and cultures at their point of need.
